it's been in basement , going sell it. plugged in , turned on. desktop background pattern (pebbly blue), no icons or other programs open , test. nothing's on desktop!
mouse works. keyboard (at least on button) works. can assist?
i'd old ppc debian linux live cd , erase drive. write pass of zeroes sure old data securely wiped. me , others on forum know exact specs of machine. memory, hard drive space, processor speed, , more.
