Will a USB WiFi adaptor work with Time Capsule etc?

airport seems have stopped working on ibook g4 (it detects networks intermittently).

if buy usb wifi adaptor, ibook still backup wirelessly time capsule , share (screen , file) other mac in house?

yes. usb adapters not mac compatible, though, read packaging carefully.
