hi have 2 part question. there away format mac retain applications (it under new account profile)?
there away import old mac's admin account seperate account on new mac? have old mbp , iv been using new mbp awhile , import old admin account (doesnt need stay admin since id rather keep new admin account) new mbp? wipe clean old slow mbp keep applications such office.

if format hd, data in erased, no, can't retain apps unless copy them external hd. apps can re-downloaded internet free of charge, long have serial should work.
connect 2 macs ethernet or firewire cable , open migration assistant in mac want transfer admin account
