Numbers-->Illustrator... Vector?

hey guys, need help.

doing t-shirt design our grad. class of 2010

front done, vector gfx in illustator, stuck side...

have 150 names need printed in shape of big 10, in end names big 10 . (you idea?)

problem:

have list names in numbers(excel). there way can have illustrator arrange text inside of shape(the 10) not have manually copy every single name on , make fit? take forever, sure there better solution ...

 

someone asked exact question few weeks ago, can't find thread. solution type "10" in illustrator , convert outlines.

"1" easy use text frame, filling of 150 names, compound paths cannot made text frames (making "0" tricky).

can use pathfinders turn "0" "c" subtracting short (less leading of text you'll fill with) rectangle shape, , can filled text (which need justified paragraph alignment).
