hello everyone,
know it's possible ssh mac remotely, unsuccessful when tried parents' computer.
computer trying log had "remote login" box checked , provided address supposed connect (ssh user@xxx.xxx.x.xxx). however, when typed terminal nothing seemed happening. prompt jump next line , never asked password.
know i'm missing here?
sorry if basic question, i'm pretty new @ , couldn't find issue addressed anywhere.

are 2 computers on same network? if not, you'll need connect router, , have router set forward port 22 machine.
