Help... Mac mini will not run OS-X CD (after ubuntu).

first of people need know english not , i'm new forum.so kind..lol.
own model intel mac mini core 2 duo, 2.0 ghz processor , 2 gb ram running leopard snow 10.6.3 changed hdd 80gb 7200 rpm.
i've started making partition taking half capacity of 80gb hdd boot camp, ran ubuntu 9.10 new partition.
here fine, when reboot alt button not give choice of os (mac or linux).
ubuntu fine no mac os on mini.
since hdd backed earlier thought wise redo whole thing beginning.
so, i've started formatting bit bit whole hdd gparted (linux application).
it.after wend worst.

a). not boot hdd (ok. expected after formatting practically ). grub error coming on black screen.
b). not boot ubuntu cd, @ least not strait-away.
had go through live cd cause keyboard dead (or better not recognized).
not or down keys , enter button not working.
third.
c). , worst of all, not boot original leopard snow cd.no keyboard options again (c, d, or alt button)

after i've found out had problem master boot record (mbr).
took hdd of mac , reformat fat32 on windows pc paragon application called partition manager (i think).then i've fix or delete mrb (or that) same application.
next move erase , format hfs journaled hdd other mac disk utility.
when i've retry booting thought problems over.
new message "no bootable device. insert boot disk press key" comes on black screen every time i'am powering (and try run cd).
of course no keyboard recognized again (for options c, d, or alt).
assuming kind of info (something basic mac) been deleted mac mini.
not know kind of information it's installed first time (to mother-boards chipset? ram? -i doubt it- or multi-formatted hdd?)
idea happened or how can regain great leopard?
i'll go crazy without it.

thank in advanced, microcosmos.

repartition hard drive , use guid scheme partition.
after restore backup , mini should fine.

seems installing ubuntu deleted entire hard drive
