my friend bedbound severe cfs bought first ipod touch month ago , has had nothing problems , itunes ever since. first of 20% of wmas imported itunes skips , silent patches, keeps getting ipod unrecognised errors, cant delete tv shows itunes whatever does, cant access list of podcasts, itunes crashes , many other small problems. have checked shes not making mistakes in way shes doing things, problems seem centred around itunes
having severe cfs means shes not physically bedbound mentally finds extremely hard cope problems, has rung apple once , didnt response worried ringing again , effect of stress ringing them have on health. if ipod keep ringing or camp outside apple store until either sorted or refunded me, thats not option her. unfortunately live many miles away im unable go on there , ring im 'mac savvy' friend.
can ring distance , pass on steps try? or can email apple customer support? writing email on few hours easier ringing.
or return retailer brought (argos in uk) faulty?
has sorted 1 way or other , id advice guys on best way that
much.
does/did friend have other kind of ipod previously? itunes installed on mac or pc? computer in question bang date? ipod firmware date?
narrowing problem down between ipod , itunes can tricky. syncing ipod itunes isn't enough cause itunes problems. again, fact she's having multiple, varying problems ipod mean that's cause.
i'd recommend making sure updates itunes , ipod in place , full restore of ipod first.
