have other idevices, using same itunes on same computer.
when sync ipad, collects iphone apps. not want happen.
now, have manually delete unwanted iphone apps in itunes on sync apps page ipad.
don't see options in itunes sync 'except,' etc. there under movies , tv shows tabs.
maybe filter option feature apple can consider if doesn't exist.
an alternative, albeit not better doing, go the apps section of itunes ipad , uncheck apps don't want sync over. myself, i've done - delete ipad applications don't want there. don't reappear after unless put them on purpose.
guess wouldn't use switch eliminated iphone applications ipad. still use of them don't have ipad-specific versions or charge again ipad version when don't use enough justify spending money second time.
