New Lens advice for a D70


hi all,

it's birthday time fast approaching , i've decided i'd new lens d70. have kit lens, nikon 50mm , sigma 70-300.

i'd go vr lens hand holding appalling tripod not practical.

bare in mind i'm beginner don't need flash, me less blurry picture :) budget max 200 notes, need save pennies go on 1 of doylems courses later in year.

advice appreciated.

i shoot canon myself, can't think of lens 200 significant step kit, seeing have 50mm.

note: small budgets, lights give better bang lenses.
