i started having issues trackpad not allowing clicking on macbook 10.6.3 (older model seperate trackpad button) , haven't figured out fix. restarted lot , repaired permissions , repaired hard disk install disc. messing system preferences didn't help. have 1 user account.
trackpad doesn't allow button or touch clicking. when using usb (haven't tried bt yet) mouse allows right clicking. sometimes, after restart, function usb mouse when move cursor trackpad problem reappears... keyboard appears still function normally.
try schedule genius visit if can't figure out fear logic board needs replacement , $500+ 4 year old oow computer. might spring mbp might not bad idea back-to-school, ipod giveaway/free printer deal coming soon.
other thoughts?
