bought iphone 3g first day, july 11th 2008. on july 9th 2009, camera going bad, brought phone in replacement (free) under 1 year applecare. boom, had new (identical) phone, worked fine.
starting today, seemingly randomly, touchscreen has become borderline nonresponsive. takes me several tries (probably 10) unlock phone, , have hit letters 2, 3 4 times in messages or safari app have device register touches. use no screen protector or fancypants that, , i've tried restoring phone.
it's out of warranty (i called apple) i'd have pay $299 replacement phone, although don't know if carry 16gb 3g. can do? there technique knows making work? should go in , cry?
, help!
if out of warranty screwed. don't pay 3g when new ones gonna out within next few weeks in same $200-300 price range.
did try restoring in itunes see if fixes screen problem?
