i've been told filemaker staff bento ipad doesn't support languages other english. mac version does. told me ipad app have no problems showing other languages when datebase has been created on mac... ipad app doesn't allow non-english input.
know best... must admit find hard believe. bento use custom keyboard or something? maybe titles of entries have in english, can not start typing international keyboard when filling in details in entry?
know they've told me won't work, i'd appreciate if 1 of test out me. please activate japanese keyboard , try inputing words entry on bento ipad? believe ipad has qwerty japanese keyboard, should enough. type things kyou, nihongo, sukkotorando , characters in there. if type these words, autosuggest japanese words using kanji, hiragana , katakana characters. know bento priced, if doesn't need waste of money me.

saw message , tried this. had no problems using japanese keyboard in bento fill in information in database. said began suggesting kanji , hiragana characters , bento displayed them properly.
don't know support people telling build entire database on ipad in japanese if wanted.
can attach screenshot if need.
