ok, new mbp came keyboard, though ordered uk version.
question is: think quick fix @ apple store, eg swap 2 incorrect keys , remap keyboard. or have send puppy back?
also, has else experienced mistake on new mbp's?
you'll find there more 2 keys different between , uk layouts. in fact think apple layout has 1 fewer key (there's wide shift left of z), , has few keys differently shaped (such low, wide enter key rather thin, tall one), if want actual apple uk layout you'll need machine swapped - unibody means can't fit different keyboard (because of holes wrong shapes).
if can live remapping that's possible (number of threads here discussing that). whether you'll able persuade apple swap keys "non-standard" layout don't know.
apple uk keyboard isn't quite other uk keyboards anyway, e.g. "| \" key being above right shift rather left of z, while @ , " swapped (like keyboard). you'll anyway have choose between reprogramming muscle memory or remapping keyboard - i'll doing latter.
