firstly apologise if got question in wrong section.
father has problem macbook , seeing of generation golden oldies love call , vent frustrations @ piece of hardware not working properly, tried www , found no answer causing issue.
have gathered, has macbook , there no proper sequence force message of "internet connect: not open communication device" come on screen.
running m$ entourage email , system preferences / network panel solely has airport, ethernet , bluetooth in list. there no reference anywhere internal modem trying create connection. has never required internal modem. ethernet , bluetooth continually "off" - in far not ever using them.
out there have clue , causing message reappear time?! must have happened around 40 times today alone.
(and sorry again if got wrong section)

does use 3g usb modem? things show dial adapters.
