Can't burn duel layer DVD?

i should of put in macbook section sorry, relates mbp whatever.

anyways have burn large disk image (snow leopard) legally of course. it's 6.5gb bought memorex duel layer dvd+r 6.5gb 1 available @ staples....

everytime try burn disk image of 10.6 leapord rejects disk , ejects it.

can tell me what's up??? kind of dvds have buy

 

i know had problem super drive not reading or burning dl discs , due drive problem apple fixed under apple care me.
