hey,
i'm new macbook pro i5 user (first mac). got last wednesday..i've gone figuring stuff out myself, , browsing articles etc. online - have few questions hope guys can me with.
have western digital 500gb fw/usb external harddrive used pc laptop. it's formatted in ntfs, , filled mp3's. i've tried drag whole folder on itunes, chokes , shows rainbow icon thing both on usb , on fw. tried choose 10 folders , import, still chokes did manage import of folders. can see it'll big problem me import whole thing if have live , manually.
second thing is, few gb's has imported, everytime open itunes now, tries finish estimating pauses , whatever tracks, keeps choking , unresponsive. have hard-quit itunes, or hit x several times make stop figuring out pauses etc.
wondering this...brand ned mbp otherwise runs well, newest itunes otherwise runs well, no problem harddrive...you guys have solution? should format harddrive format, what? in advance
please, can me in right direction solving problem...?
