rip movies handbrake/fairmount using apple universal setting.
perfect appletv , ipad.
ipod , iphone using quicktime x convert above files using "iphone" setting.
now, want have them smart sync itunes purchases hd version goes appletv , sd or smaller "iphone" version goes ipod , iphone.
know how apple hd purchases , if can replicated homebrewed versions?
alternative i'm going making playlist smaller movie files sweet if itunes handle me.
use metax (it's available both windows , mac, , it's free).
add both videos metax. hd video, set hd flag "yes". both videos, make cnid tag same. use date plus number of vids i've encoded day, i.e. 201004231.
save changes, add them itunes. if vids in itunes, may have remove them library , re-import them combined.
