with many choices, i'm bit overwhelmed of filter brand go with. between nd filter , graduated nd filter upcoming trip hawaii. i'll using filter long exposure waterfall shots (nd work here) , long exposure beach/sunset beach shots (graduated nd assume best these). questions are:
1. can either of these filters work both scenarios or need buy both?
2. strength filter best around these type of shots? guessing .9 nd, gnd? soft edge gnds better choice on hard edge?
3. brands best? dont want cheap filter end ruining glass quality (ie tiffen?)

you may want bring polarizing filter - started using 1 not long ago , can lot you!
