as promised in couple threads asked 250mb enough ipad 3g, have started thread let know real world experience 250mb! don't see daily posting thing, unless comment on recent reply.
on next 30 days or 250mb - ever comes first, members here on mr might better idea whether go $15 plan or $30 plan. , i.
little how intend use 3g aspect of ipad. @ work during lunch breaks. have no wifi @ work.
activated ipad 3g yesterday. home wifi turned 3g off. today first day 3g being used. did 5 7 minutes gps , google maps photo view. rest of 30 minute lunch break checking ustoday, fluent news, , quick check of mail, google mail via safari. left 3g test of fetching emails through out day.
tomorrow first real test of how see 3g usage going. turning on 3g when can't wifi signal
here is:
day 1 (may 3rd) - 0 (was wifi day @ home)
day 2 (may 4th) - sent: 1.2mb received: 15.5mb
notes: mentioned above had try out gps google maps little while morning on drive in work. used during stretch knew hit stop lights check out accuracy , able exit google map app safely. mentioned in thread seems hog on 3g data.
i have had 3g ipad since friday , have used on wifi have picked 3g here , there. today out while walking around neighborhood , put test there, too. far have used 15.5 incoming , think 3.3 outgoing..... looks me though 250 mb fine! days, though.......
