i having conversation friend , curious how many people bought ipad never owned iphone/touch.
debate having sort of people buy ipad & not actualy need , avoiding it, not knowing change lives because had never been exposed sort of device , forth.
are implying iphone/ipod touch take place of ipad, , 1 would't "need" ipad? because there monumental difference in way 1 interacts ipad compared how 1 interacts iphone or ipod touch. because owns iphone goes out , purchases ipad doesn't mean don't need — iphone never serve replacement ipad. ipad more computer, compared iphone more of well... phone.
being said, 1 of huge selling points apple making ipad "you know how use it." it's advertising people have iphone , ipod touches — because runs same operating system. sure, there going people go out , buy ipad without experience on how works. there going considerably more people going buy ipad do know how works. why? because that's people comfortable with. because iphone/ipod touch users comfortable using devices, purchasing ipad going more likely. , that's apple's betting on — why ipad runs iphone, , not mac.
think of this: reason why people still buy pcs. know macs better, they're not willing make switch because they're used to windows. they're not willing make jump until become comfortable it, or until shows them. same go iphone/ipod touch users — they're used to iphone os. they're comfortable it. they'll stick ipad because they're accustomed iphone os.
(the difference ipad rocks while windows sucks, lol).
