i've been using macs ages, i'm not novice, although may not expert. lately i've been having trouble viewing file icons. i've checked "snap grid" viewing option can have folders neatly arranged in file, viewable icon. couple of days later find "grid" seems have shifted, , files being moved folder aren't aligned ones i've moved there . . . have realign them if want them orderly. what's causing this? thought once checked "snap grid" files, they'd aligned.
other problem involves moving new files existing folders, using "save as" application rippling slidebar @ bottom. newly-saved file ends in bottom of folder. if i've limited viewable size of folder, i'll find when retrieve new file can snap grid near other files in folder, folder huge , new file's @ bottom of enormous void. i'm worried i'll overlook files end in bottom way. there way can regulate dimensions of folders? guess it's not possible me snap newly-saved folders near existing ones unless manually.
. . . i'm eager "read" experts.
