iTunes doesn't find Airtunes when connected with cable, only WiFi


i have apple tv airtunes enabled. apparantly, it's not possible connect pc's connected lan cable instead of wifi? know why?

more details:

have 3 pc's:

pc 1: , windows 7 64-bit itunes 9.1.1.12 (latest)
stationary, connected lan using cable in gigabit switch

pc 2: 100% fresh install of windows 7 32-bit , itunes 9.1.1.12
stationary, connected lan using cable in gigabit switch

pc 3: win 7 32-bit itunes 9.1.1.12
netbook - connected through wifi

apple tv device (latest firmware) connected same lan using cable well. all pc's can ping apple tv without problems.

problem itunes doesn't find airtunes device (the output dropdown selector doesn't show up). first tried on main pc (pc1). didn't work, tested on pc2 (wich fresh install of both os , itunes!), same problem there.

weird thing happened. tried install on netbook, , worked! difference netbook connected through wifi. don't see why matter, fun tested disconnect wifi, , connect cable , boom - airtunes selection dissappeared! disconnected cable , reconnected wifi, appeared again.

why on earth airtunes work on wifi? can see on attached screenshot, network configuration equal on wifi , cabled connection.
