i want reformat 2.33gh mbp. problem have dont have original install discs came computer. running snow leopard, installed upgrade disk. borrowed snow leopard disk friend got new imac , when try boot disk reformat says cant install software on computer...
because disk imac, need disk?

you have provide more details. pointed out, generic upgrade os disks work, , original mbp install disks work. imac install disks work in imac's.
so, suggestion go buy sl disk set @ apple store. should have them.
happened original install disks?
