AT&T Officially Out of Stock of iPhone 3G

if of evidence late last month, including removal of "select" button iphone 3g in apple's own online store, wasn't enough convince people iphone 3g on last legs, boy genius report points apparent internal memo at&t retail store employees notifying them company officially out of stock of device.

the memo appears targeted @ selected at&t authorized retailers permitted carry iphone , refers them local company-owned retail stores (cor) check remaining stock might have company closes out inventory of device.

apple expected introduce next-generation iphone @ worldwide developers conference next week, many observers expecting apple continue offering 16 gb iphone 3gs , slide down entry-level $99 price point held 8 gb iphone 3g. wal-mart stepped front last week doing before next-generation iphone appeared, dropping price on entry-level iphone 3gs $97 previous $197 price point.
