complete n00b when comes osx warn lol. im wondering, if 1 did dual boot of windows alongside osx, possible access files on windows partition osx , likewise, possible access files on osx partition wndows?
also, time capsule files osx or across whole mac?
sorry if stupid question, looking buying macbook , wondering if possible. help!
osx able read either ntfs or fat32 windows partitions, , can write fat32 partition.
depending on os version, windows may or may not able read hfs+ partitions on os x side. windows xp cannot without third-party utility. can't definitively vista , 7, although i've heard 7 can.
time machine, when set up, automatically exclude ntfs partitions. if use filesystem when install windows, time machine not up. recommend using winclone ntfs windows partitions.
