i exchanging mbp today , need both osx drive , windows 7 drive. problem using wd passport comes formatted osx.
tried partitioning drive halves, , formatting 1 half fat32 windows still did not read it. when plug in while booted windows reads osx half of drive not windows partition.
also, using oem version of windows. realized when go install on new mbp screwed huh?

can post screenshots of disk utility , disk manager see drive now?
re: oem, you'll have call microsoft, tell them motherboard died, work. while on hold them think if money saved worth it.
