venerable billingham hadley small (and pro matter) has nice cozy spot ipad directly behind padded insert. ipad sticks little bit on top of insert, top cover pulled over, works fine.
if you're looking nice compact camera bag fit ipad, hadley small pretty great.

nice bag, , can take out center padded section that's camera body , lenses , it's instantly great everyday messenger bag me take work.
has area 15" laptop, although use ipad. if leave in center section (but take out small dividers), can put laptop , ipad both. won't fit 17" mbp, if did i'd use laptop bag have that. reason got tenba because doesn't "hey have $2,000 worth of stuff in here" it. it's "street smart". top quick-access zipper don't have unbuckle , pull stuff inside. can carry cam , have instantly along w/ ipad. dslr , ipad great combination day of shooting.
