i managed drop ipad twice in 5 minutes. @ hotel , trying elevator , head down check out. had ipad tucked under arm luggage in each of hands. didn't put in bag because keeping out take advantage of every last second of wifi while waiting taxi out front.
anyway...i ended dropping twice. once on carpet in room , once on concrete in front of hotel. in apple case luckily there no damage.
let's hear drop stories...
had not been in case think concrete have @ least broken glass screen.
now see, if have had 3g not have cared sucking last bit of wifi , hence not dropped ipad.kidding.
glad it's ok, 1 of durability test saw showed component damage after 2 3ft drops onto carpeted surface. stopped working. makes me think no drop going let ipad escape unscaved.
